HOW DOES IT WORK? |

1-On request we will send you a questionnaire/registration
form. We
will ask you for information about your property that will be relevant for
potential house-swappers. E.g.:-number
of bedrooms available, whether or not you want young children in your home
etc. We
will ask about your garden, pets, your immediate locality, its sports and
other amenities, and about your church. |
2- To register with ‘Christian House and
Church Swap UK’, you just need to fill in and return the questionnaire. 3- On receipt of this, and from the
information that you give us, we write a description of your property which is
identified by a reference number. 4- We then contact your church leader to
ask him/her to verify their knowledge of you. (This is for everyone’s peace
of mind.) |

5- We will send you a booklet listing all
the properties of people looking to house swap, and regularly update you with
new properties as people register. NB:- the property details
are always identified by their reference number. |

6-We shall
ask you to let us know which of the property descriptions interest you, and we
start to contact people on your behalf to ask if they are interested in a
swap with you. |

|
7- - When a match
is secured, we release names and addresses to both parties for you to make
contact with each other to confirm the swap, and
finalise plans. We shall also ask you to send us the
exchange fee, 10% of which will be
credited to your home church. |

8- Towards the end of each month, if you
are not ‘matched’, we will email/send you an update, giving reference numbers
of people still looking to house swap as well as descriptions of new people
registered. |

9 – HOSPITALITY
SWAP Several people have
enquired about the possibility of a ‘hospitality swap’, where people offer
hospitality for a week-end or longer, and then the hospitality is ‘swapped’
on another occasion. This can be in the UK or abroad. We’ll ask you about this in the
registration forms. |

SWAPPING OUTSIDE THE UK***** On the questionnaire we ask if you are interested in the possibility
of house swapping with Christians in Europe and beyond. If you are, we can keep you updated with enquirers from
abroad. See ‘Contact Us’ page where there are often
a few descriptions of properties belonging to Christians, outside the both for holidays and extended visits. ************************************************************************ |
