TASMANIA

Home to a couple who would like to visit the UK, sometime in 2008.

This couple live in Montagu Bay, which is a suburb of Hobart, on the small and lovely island Tasmania. The climate here is mild, and on a par with southern France.

Their 1970’s detached brick house is built on a slope, and is on 2 levels. It is 150 metres from the Derwent River, looking towards the Botanical Gardens and Mount Wellington, which is the backdrop to the city of Hobart.

They are 15 mins drive to the country, the airport, and the historic town of Richmond.   Hobart, established in 1803, was the first settlement in Tasmania and there are many fine sandstone Georgian buildings. Population is now approx. 200,000 and the city offers a huge range of amenities and places of interest.
